New rules for Greenwich boaters make waves

A series of proposed rules governing everything from the size of boats moored at town-owned marinas to the practice of tying vessels together for social gatherings is encountering choppy seas.

The gripe among a number of boaters is that the mooring regulations recommended by First Selectman's Coastal Resources Advisory Committee are much too strict and are being rammed through by the town."
