"The explosion and fire on a boat on Lake Union Saturday happened after its operator and a friend were at a marina's fueling dock, Seattle police spokesman Mark Jamieson said Saturday.
They were preparing to put fuel into the boat when it exploded, throwing one man into the water, he said. The other man managed to escape.
The burning boat drifted from the dock, struck a 60-foot yacht and damaged it, officials said.
The injured man was taken to Harborview Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries, The Associated Press reported."
