What's your story?

Proton: The boat is a Corsair F-27 trimaran. I'm a physicist. A proton is made up of 3 quarks: Two "up" quarks and a "down" quark. You should ask people for the names of their dinghies if they have them. I like to see interesting dinghy-name/boat-name combinations. For example, mine is called"electron". Toby Castellarin has a boat named"Rum and Tonic"and his dinghy is named "Twist of Lime". One could go on for a long time.

Robots Attempting Longest Ever Unmanned Sailing Voyage

Science News: BBC News reported last Friday that the four robots, which were created by an American company called Liquid Robotics, departed from the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco on November 17. At first they will travel together before pairing off into groups of two, one of which will head to Australia and the other embarking en route to Japan in order to support a Mariana Trench dive.

“During their 300-day journey, the surfboard-sized Wave Gliders… will collect vast amounts of real-time data on ocean conditions and beam it to the cloud where it will be made available free to researchers worldwide,” Todd Woody of Forbes said in an article Friday.

Stephen Colbert Explains Why The Wealthy Need Yachts To Flee Hordes Of The Poor: And Colbert agrees: He couldn’t imagine fleeing the collapse of society if his boat doesn’t have an onboard infinity pool. The ad continues: “If you ever get discouraged and think nobody in the world cares about you and your dreams, trust me, the boating industry does.”
