Kids help harbor in Project Oyster - BostonHerald.com: "Despite their lengthy absence from the Boston area, oysters are making a comeback to help clean up that (not so) dirty water.
Kid volunteers, ages 3 to 12, from the Massachusetts Oyster Project (MOP) reintroduced 150,000 of the mollusks to Boston Harbor yesterday. Oysters were pushed out of the area more than 50 years ago by overharvesting, pollution and loss of habitat to fill and silt."
