Bahamas Officially Bans Harvesting Marine Turtles
DivePhotoGuide.com -: "Five of the world’s seven sea turtle species inhabit the Bahamas. Prior to the decision to ban all turtle harvesting, which will take effect on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, it was perfectly legal to kill all but one species, the hawksbill."
